क॒विं के॒तुं धा॒सिं भा॒नुमद्रे॑र्हि॒न्वन्ति॒ शं रा॒ज्यं रोद॑स्योः । पु॒रं॒द॒रस्य॑ गी॒र्भिरा वि॑वासे॒ऽग्नेर्व्र॒तानि॑ पू॒र्व्या म॒हानि॑
kaviṃ ketuṃ dhāsiṃ bhānumadrerhinvanti śaṃ rājyaṃ rodasyoḥ puraṃdarasya gīrbhirā vivāse'gnervratāni pūrvyā mahāni
Which poets proclaim the banner of light and worthy splendour? The words of Purandara (Indra) celebrated the great ancient vows; Agni distributed the former mighty rites.
They propitiate the wise, the manifesting, the sustaining,t he enlightener of the pious, the giver ofhappiness, the sovereign of heaven and earth; I glorify the ancient and mighty works of Agni, the demolisher ofcities.
Sage, Sing, Food, Light,-they bring him from the mountain, the blessed Sovran of the earth and heaven.
