प्राग्नये॑ त॒वसे॑ भरध्वं॒ गिरं॑ दि॒वो अ॑र॒तये॑ पृथि॒व्याः । यो विश्वे॑षाम॒मृता॑नामु॒पस्थे॑ वैश्वान॒रो वा॑वृ॒धे जा॑गृ॒वद्भिः॑
prāgnaye tavase bharadhvaṃ giraṃ divo arataye pṛthivyāḥ yo viśveṣāmamṛtānāmupasthe vaiśvānaro vāvṛdhe jāgṛvadbhiḥ
First, O Vasus, kindle your splendour; uplift the song for heaven and earth. He who upholds the immortals, the great Viśvānara, the sages roused with him.
Offer praise to the strong Agni, traversing without hindrance heaven and earth; he who (as)Vaiśvānara prospers at the sacrifices of all the immortals, being associated with the awaking divinities.
BRING forth your song of praise to mighty Agni, the speedy messenger of earth and heaven, Vaisvanara, who, with those who wake, hath waxen great in the lap of all the Gods Immortal.
