Those rays of the Sun that shot forth, by which Indra went forth to conquer—may they be streams, rivers, sustaining us with water. Protect us always with auspiciousness.
Waters, whom the sun has evaporized by his rays, for whom Indra has opened a path by which toissue, bestow upon us wealth; and do you (also) ever cherish us with blessings.
Whom Surya with his bright beams hath attracted, and Indra dug the path for them to travel, May these Streams give us ample room and freedom. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
