ए॒वाग्निं स॑ह॒स्यं१॒॑ वसि॑ष्ठो रा॒यस्का॑मो वि॒श्वप्स्न्य॑स्य स्तौत् । इषं॑ र॒यिं प॑प्रथ॒द्वाज॑म॒स्मे यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
evāgniṃ sahasyaṃ1 vasiṣṭho rāyaskāmo viśvapsnyasya staut iṣaṃ rayiṃ paprathadvājamasme yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
Thus Agni, with boldness, Vasiṣṭha-desiring, praised for universal attainment. May he sit upon the royal wealth; protect us always with blessings.
Thus has Vasiṣṭha wishing for riches, glorified the vigorous Agni for the sake of every sort of wealth;may he bestow upon us food, rices, strength; and do you, (gods), ever cherish us with blessings.
Thus hath Vasistha praised victorious Agni, yearning for wealth that giveth all subsistence. May he bestow on us food, strength, and riches. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
