इ॒मं नो॑ अग्ने अध्व॒रं जु॑षस्व म॒रुत्स्विन्द्रे॑ य॒शसं॑ कृधी नः । आ नक्ता॑ ब॒र्हिः स॑दतामु॒षासो॒शन्ता॑ मि॒त्रावरु॑णा यजे॒ह
imaṃ no agne adhvaraṃ juṣasva marutsvindre yaśasaṃ kṛdhī naḥ ā naktā barhiḥ sadatāmuṣāsośantā mitrāvaruṇā yajeha
O Agni, accept this path for us; with Maruts, Indra, give fame to our deeds. Bring to us the morning, the excellent dawns, Mitra and Varuṇa for worship.
Be gratified, Agni, by this our sacrifice; render our (worship) renowned among Indra and the Maruts; letthe days and nights sit down on the sacred grass; worship (Agni), at this rite, Mitra and Varuṇa, desiring (theoblation).
Accept this sacrifice of ours, O Agni; glorify it with Indra and the Maruts. Here on our grass let Night and Dawn be seated: bring longing Varuna and Mitra hither.
