शं नः॑ स॒त्यस्य॒ पत॑यो भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ अर्व॑न्तः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु॒ गावः॑ । शं न॑ ऋ॒भवः॑ सु॒कृतः॑ सु॒हस्ताः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तु पि॒तरो॒ हवे॑षु
śaṃ naḥ satyasya patayo bhavantu śaṃ no arvantaḥ śamu santu gāvaḥ śaṃ na ṛbhavaḥ sukṛtaḥ suhastāḥ śaṃ no bhavantu pitaro haveṣu
May the lords of truth be our protectors; may the wandering herds be auspicious to us; may the skilful, beneficent rbhus be ours; may the fathers be present at our offerings.
May the lords of truth be (propitious to) our happiness; may horses, may cattle, (contribute to) ourhappiness; may the virtuous, the dexterous Ṛbhus, be to us (for) felicity; may the progenitors be (promoters of)our happiness at the seasons of worship.
May the great Lords of Truth protect and aid us: blest to us be our horses and our cattle. Kind be the pious skilful-handed Rbhus, kind be the Fathers at our invocations.
