tanno rāyaḥ parvatāstanna āpastadrātiṣāca oṣadhīruta dyauḥ vanaspatibhiḥ pṛthivī sajoṣā ubhe rodasī pari pāsato naḥ
May that wealth be ours, the mountains; may that wealth be ours, the waters; may the herbs, heaven, and plants with their leafy hosts be agreeable to us; may earth with her forest-kings be friendly; may both the mornings encompass us with favor.
May the mountains, the waters, the liberal (wives of the gods), the plural nts, also the heaven and theearth, consentient with the forest lords and both the heaven and earth, preserve for us those (coveted) riches.
So may rich Mountains and the liberal Waters, so may all Herbs that grow on ground, and Heaven, And Earth accordant with the Forest-Sovrans, and both the World-halves round about protect us.
