Those who are in your service, unseen by men — whether by word or by mounted chariots they ascend — may their sons protect us with might; save us, heroic, O knower of births.
Son of strength, Jātavedas, with those unobstructed (splendours) which belong to you, a munificentdonor, and with those praises wherewiḥ you protect people with their posterity, do you protect us yourworshippers and praisers.
Thine are resistless songs for him who offers, and hero-giving hymns wherewith thou savest; With these, O Son of Strength, O Jatavedas, guard us, preserve these princes and the singers.
