I hold that the wise among rites and among men consider you as artificers for yajña; upward and downward is made in the oblations — these are the paths in the gods, the courses, the waters.
I am minded to adore you two sages, the ministrants at sacrifices of men, from celebrated, convey ouroffspring aloft, and acquire (for our use) the precious (treasures preserved) among the gods.
You, Bards and Singers at men's sacrifices, both filled with wisdom, I incline to worship. Send up our offerings when we call upon you, and so among the Gods obtain us treasures.
