Your attentive, thunder-armed hands—those nine, or whatever is ninety in front and ninety behind—when investing, a hundredfold they poured out and struck Vritra down with loud cry.
Such, wielder of the thunderbolt, are your mighty powers, that when you had quickly destroyed ninetyand nine cities, you have occupied the hundredth as a plural ce of abode; you have slain Vṛtra, you have also slainNamuci.
These were thy mighty powers that, Thunder-wielder, thou swiftly crushedst nine-and-ninety castles: Thou capturedst the hundredth in thine onslaught; thou slewest Namuci, thou slewest Vrtra.
