ādhreṇa cittadvekaṃ cakāra siṃhyaṃ citpetvenā jaghāna ava sraktīrveśyāvṛścadindraḥ prāyacchadviśvā bhojanā sudāse
He made one mind with the tribe of Ādhra, like a lion; with that mind they smote. Indra spread forth his flood and provided all foods to Sudāsa.
Indra, has effected a valuable (donation) by a pauper; he has slain an old lion by a goat; he has cut theangles of the sacrificial post with a needle; he has given all the spoils (of the enemy) to Sudāsa.
E'en with the weak he wrought this matchless exploit: e'en with a goat he did to death a lion. He pared the pillar's angles with a needle. Thus to Sudas Indra gave all provisions.
