व॒यं ते॑ अग्ने स॒मिधा॑ विधेम व॒यं दा॑शेम सुष्टु॒ती य॑जत्र । व॒यं घृ॒तेना॑ध्वरस्य होतर्व॒यं दे॑व ह॒विषा॑ भद्रशोचे
vayaṃ te agne samidhā vidhema vayaṃ dāśema suṣṭutī yajatra vayaṃ ghṛtenādhvarasya hotarvayaṃ deva haviṣā bhadraśoce
O Agni, we place these fuel-offerings to you; we offer praise, the fitting worship. With clarified ghee the priest offers; O god, accept these auspicious oblations.
May we perform your rites, Agni, with fuel; may we offer you, adorable Agni, pious praises; may we(gratify you), ministrant of the sacrifice, with clarified butter; divine Agni, of auspicious lustre, may we (worshipyou) with oblations.
Agni, may we perform thy rites with fuel, and honour thee, O Holy one, with praises: Honour thee, Priest of sacrifice! with butter, thee, God of blessed light! with our oblation.
