प्र या जिगा॑ति ख॒र्गले॑व॒ नक्त॒मप॑ द्रु॒हा त॒न्वं१॒॑ गूह॑माना । व॒व्राँ अ॑न॒न्ताँ अव॒ सा प॑दीष्ट॒ ग्रावा॑णो घ्नन्तु र॒क्षस॑ उप॒ब्दैः
pra yā jigāti khargaleva naktamapa druhā tanvaṃ1 gūhamānā vavrām̐ anantām̐ ava sā padīṣṭa grāvāṇo ghnantu rakṣasa upabdaiḥ
He advanced like a sword at night, tearing open the cave-like body. Let the countless cattle strike him down; let the herdsmen slay the demon with their arms.
May the cruel feminine le fiend who, throwing off the concealment of her person n, wanders about at night likean owl, fall headlong down into the unbounded caverns; may the sones that grind the Soma destroy therākṣasas by their noise.
She too who wanders like an owl at night-time, hiding her body in her guile and malice, May she fall downward into endless caverns. May press-stones with loud ring destroy the demons.
