Golden-clad, adorned with gleaming plumes, you made the sacrifice strong; youth-born Ushija, not turned aside. Agni, knower at births, wise one who discerns the gods, messenger and granter, long-lived and eminent.
Agni, preceding the dawn, is radiant by day as the sun, and the priests celebrating the sacrifice repeathis praise; the divine, munificent Agni, the messenger (of the gods), cognizant of their birth, repairing to thedeities, hastens in various directions.
He, like the Sun, hath shone while Morn is breaking, and priests who weave the sacrifice sing praises, Agni, the God, who knows their generations and visits Gods, most bounteous, rapid envoy.
