Do not, O Agni, set aside the brave among men; let not cowardice surround you. In populous assemblies do not be hard to win.

Let us not sit down, Agni, in an empty dwelling, (nor in those) of (other) men; let us not be withoutsuccessors; or, being without male posterity, let us, friend of dwellings, (by) worshipping you, (come to abide) inhouses filled with progeny.

Let us not sit in want of men, O Agni, without descendants, heroleu, about thee: But, O House-Friend, in houses full of children.
