Indra and Soma, mighty ones, made your greatness great; they established the young and the great as foremost. They made the young sun shine forth and set the universe in order; they pointed out its overwhelming course.
Great, Indra and Soma, is that your greatness, for you have made great and principal (beings); you have made known (to men) Sūrya and the waters; you have dissipated the glooms and (desroyed) the revilers.
GREAT is this might of yours, Indra and Soma: the first high exploits were your own achievements. Ye found the Sun ye found the light of heaven: ye killed all darkness and the Gods' blasphemers.
