म॒क्षू न येषु॑ दो॒हसे॑ चिद॒या आ नाम॑ धृ॒ष्णु मारु॑तं॒ दधा॑नाः । न ये स्तौ॒ना अ॒यासो॑ म॒ह्ना नू चि॑त्सु॒दानु॒रव॑ यासदु॒ग्रान्
makṣū na yeṣu dohase cidayā ā nāma dhṛṣṇu mārutaṃ dadhānāḥ na ye staunā ayāso mahnā nū citsudānurava yāsadugrān
Not those cows in whose hands you milked, O bold ones who gave the Maruts; not those who chant hymns with effort, nor the great ones who followed alike.
Approaching nigh to whom, and repeating the mighty name of the Maruts, (the worshipper is able) quickly to obtain (his wishes); the liberal donor pacifies the angry Maruts, who are otherwise in their might the resistless plural nderers (of their wealth).
Even those who bear the brave bold name of Maruts, whom not the active quickly wins for milking. Even the liberal wards not off those fierce ones, those who are light and agile in their greatness.
