We have listened to Pūṣan, the unerring, learned by the eight Vedas; we invoke him as lord and protector of the realm.

We solicit Pūṣan, who hears (our eulogies); who is the averter (of poverty); the preserver of that which is not lost, the ruler (over all).

Pusan who listens to our prayers, the Strong whose wealth is never lost, The Lord of riches, we implore.
