viśvadānīṃ sumanasaḥ syāma paśyema nu sūryamuccarantam tathā karadvasupatirvasūnāṃ devām̐ ohāno'vasāgamiṣṭhaḥ
May I see with a calm, generous mind the Sun rising; so too may the lord of riches of the generous ones, leader of the cattle, come with the gods at the dawn of the oblation.
May we at all seasons be possessed of sound minds; may we ever behold the rising sun; such may the affluent lord of riches, (Agni), render us, ever most ready to come (at our invocation), charged with our oblation to the gods.
Through all our days may we be healthy. minded, and look upon the Sun when he arises. Grant this the Treasure-Lord of treasures, coming, observant, oftenest of Gods, with succour!
