avantu māmuṣaso jāyamānā avantu mā sindhavaḥ pinvamānāḥ avantu mā parvatāso dhruvāso'vantu mā pitaro devahūtau
Let those born of the dawn come to me; let the Sindhu-drinkers come pouring. Let the mountains and steadfast ones come; let not the fathers be hindered in their divine offerings.
May the opening dawns preserve me; may the swelling rivers preserve me; may the firm-set mountains preserve me; may the progenitors (present) at the invocation of the gods preserve me.
May Mornings as they spring to life, protect me, and may the Rivers as they swell preserve me. My guardians be the firmly-seated mountains: the Fathers, when I call on Gods, defend me!
