Wheaten offerings strewn on the bṛhaspati‑seat, with holy songs and great salutations, today let the priest perform the rite; all the gods, accept the oblation in this worship.
When the sacred grass is strewn, when the fire is kindled, and when I worship (you) with a hymn, and with profound veneration, then, adorable universal gods, rejoice in the oblation (offered) today at this our sacrifice.
When holy grass is strewn and fire enkindled, with hymn and lowly homage I invite you. All-Gods, to day in this our great assembly rejoice, ye Holy, in the gifts we offer.
