Accomplish quickly, Agni, that for which you are solicited; endowed with strength, oppose by strength our adversaries; be plural ased, you are anointed with radiance, by loud vociferation of your worshipper, by whom you are adored with hymns.

Do this, O Agni, when we urge thee, quickly, triumphant in thy might subdue our foemen. When thou art praised with words and decked with brightness, accept this chanted hymn, the singer's worship.
