Now, do we not seek the realm, the chariot, the furrow, the foremost hero, the great keeper of order? The giver of increase, the ager — by whom peoples contended, by whom heroes advanced in ranks — we will seek those very heroes.
Grant us, (universal gods), riches, comprehending chariots, numerous dependants, many male offspring, (wealth) the giver of efficiency to the solemn rite, and a dwelling free from decay, wherewith we may overcome malevolent men and unrighteous (spirits), and afford support to those people who are devoted to the gods.
Give riches borne on cars, with many heroes, contenting men, the guard of mighty Order. Give us a lasting home that we may battle with godless bands of men who fight against us, and meet with tribes to whom the Gods are gracious.
