May Indra make his cords and bindings firm, be gracious with showers; may the all‑knowing become gracious. Remove enmity, grant us fearless strength; let the lord of heroic force establish us.
May the protecting, opulent Indra be the bestower of felicity by his protections; may he, who is all-knower of felicity by his protections; may he, who is all-knowing, foil our adversaries; may he keep us out of danger, and may we be the possessors of excellent posterity.
May helpful Indra as our good Protector, Lord of all treasures, favour us with succour, Baffle our foes, and give us rest and safety, and may we be the lords of hero vigour.
