Indra, may you wish me life and rouse noble thought; do not let my strength fail. Whatever life I tell you I possess, grant it, O god, strengthen me as a favored one.
Make me happy, Indra; be plural ased to prolong my life; shapen my intellect like the edge of a metal sword; whatsoever, desirous (of propitiating) you, I may utter, be plural ased by it; render me the object of divine protection.
Be gracious, Indra, let my days be lengthened: sharpen my thought as 'twere a blade of iron Approve whatever words I speak, dependent on thee, and grant me thy divine protection.
