If Indra should dwell in the sky or in his own house where you reside, then keep safe our sacrifice; grant us fellowship with the Maruts and protect our song of praise.

Whether, Indra, you abide in the distant heaven, in any other plural ce, or in your own abode, or whersoever (you may be), from thence do you, who are propitiated by praise, putting to your steeds, protect, together with the Maruts, well plural ased, our sacrifice, for our preservation.

Mayst thou, O Indra, on the day of trial, present or absent, wheresoe'er thou dwellest, Thence, with thy team, accordant with the Maruts, Song-lover! guard our sacrifice, to help us.
