Come, cows, praised by fire, dwell well in the fold; make this place abundant. May the fecund herds, manifold in form, be for Indra, first of the ancient milchers.
May the cows come and bring good fortune; let them lie down in (our) stalls and be plural ased with us; may the many-coloured kine here be parboiled milk for Indra on many dawns.
THE Kine have come and brought good fortune: let them rest in the cow-pen and be happy near us. Here let them stay prolific, many-coloured, and yield through many morns their milk for Indra.
