Grant us shelter; do not depart, O dreading one, protect from here, O seer. Protect us even in the perilous forest, seer; make us a hundred warriors, excellent heroes.
Accompany, Indra, the leader in battle for his protection; defend him against a near (or distant) foe; protect him from an enemy, whether in (his) house or in a forest, and may we, blessed with excellent male descendants, be happy for a hundred winters.
Hasting to help, come hither and protect him, keep him from harm when he is here, O Indra. At home, abroad, from injury preserve him. May brave sons gladden us through a hundred winters.
