वी॒ती यो दे॒वं मर्तो॑ दुव॒स्येद॒ग्निमी॑ळीताध्व॒रे ह॒विष्मा॑न् । होता॑रं सत्य॒यजं॒ रोद॑स्योरुत्ता॒नह॑स्तो॒ नम॒सा वि॑वासेत्
vītī yo devaṃ marto duvasyedagnimīḷītādhvare haviṣmān hotāraṃ satyayajaṃ rodasyoruttānahasto namasā vivāset
When the mortal calls the god with force, he brings Agni home; the sacrificer, the Hotṛ, the true worshipper, may he invoke the oblation, may he call aloud.
Whatever mortal, offering oblations, worships a deity with (sacrificial) food, let him at the ceremony also worship Agni, the invoker of heaven and earth, the sacrificer with truth; let him adore (Agni) with uplifted hands.
The mortal man who serves the God with banquet, and, bringing gifts at sacrifice, lauds Agni, May well attract, with prayer and hands uplifted, the Priest of Heaven and Earth, true Sacrificer.
