यस्ते॑ सूनो सहसो गी॒र्भिरु॒क्थैर्य॒ज्ञैर्मर्तो॒ निशि॑तिं वे॒द्यान॑ट् । विश्वं॒ स दे॑व॒ प्रति॒ वार॑मग्ने ध॒त्ते धा॒न्यं१॒॑ पत्य॑ते वस॒व्यैः॑
yaste sūno sahaso gīrbhirukthairyajñairmarto niśitiṃ vedyānaṭ viśvaṃ sa deva prati vāramagne dhatte dhānyaṃ1 patyate vasavyaiḥ
He whose sons, with a thousandfold voice, sing your praises with hymns and sacrifices, knows the mortal night's appointed time. Agni, he sets the world's wealth each year, the grain that is offered to the Vasus.
The mortal who by praise, by prayers, by sacrifices, attracts, son of strength, your heightened (radiance) to the altar, enjoys all-sufficiency and corn, and abounds in wealth.
The man who, Son of Strength 1 with sacrifices, hymns, lauds, attracts thy fervour to the altar, Enjoys each precious thing, O God, O Agni, gains wealth of corn and is the lord of treasures.
