tvaṃ bhago na ā hi ratnamiṣe parijmeva kṣayasi dasmavarcāḥ agne mitro na bṛhata ṛtasyāsi kṣattā vāmasya deva bhūreḥ
You, divine, do not take away the jewel that is mine; you consume it around me — the tenfold splendours. Agni, Mitra, you are not greater than Rta; you are the protector of the right-hand gods and of the abundant divine.
Do you, who are adorable, bestow upon us precious wealth; beautiful with radiance, you pass (around) like the circumambient (wind); you, divine Agni, are like mitra, the giver of abundant water and ample wealth.
Thou art our Bhaga to send wealth thou dwellest, like circumambient air, with wondrous splendour. Friend art thou of the lofty Law, like Mitra, Controller, Agni! God! of many a blessing.
