वि॒शां क॒विं वि॒श्पतिं॒ शश्व॑तीनां नि॒तोश॑नं वृष॒भं च॑र्षणी॒नाम् । प्रेती॑षणिमि॒षय॑न्तं पाव॒कं राज॑न्तम॒ग्निं य॑ज॒तं र॑यी॒णाम्
viśāṃ kaviṃ viśpatiṃ śaśvatīnāṃ nitośanaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ carṣaṇīnām pretīṣaṇimiṣayantaṃ pāvakaṃ rājantamagniṃ yajataṃ rayīṇām
The seer of wide realms, the lord of hosts, the eternal one, the bull among the dwellers; the presiding, kindling, banquet-giving Agni offered by the singers, the beloved of the worshippers.
(We glorify) the lord of men of ever-existing men; the wise, the destroyer (of foes) the showerer (of benefits) on mankind, the moving, the bestower of food, the purifier, the resplendent, Agni, who is worshipped for (the sake of) riches.
Sage of mankind, all peoples' Lord and Master, the Bull of men, the sender down of blessings, Still pressing on, promoting, purifying, Agni the Holy One, the Lord of riches.
