म॒हान्तं॒ कोश॒मुद॑चा॒ नि षि॑ञ्च॒ स्यन्द॑न्तां कु॒ल्या विषि॑ताः पु॒रस्ता॑त् । घृ॒तेन॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी व्यु॑न्धि सुप्रपा॒णं भ॑वत्व॒घ्न्याभ्यः॑
mahāntaṃ kośamudacā ni ṣiñca syandantāṃ kulyā viṣitāḥ purastāt ghṛtena dyāvāpṛthivī vyundhi suprapāṇaṃ bhavatvaghnyābhyaḥ
They make great reservoirs and pour them forth; the streams gush from the east; with clarified butter heaven and earth open, may there be abundant breath for the givers.
Raise on high the mighty sheath (of rain), pour down (its contents); let the rivers flow unimpeded to the east; saturate with water both heaven and earth, and let there be abundant beverage for the kine.
Lift up the mighty vessel, pour down water, and let the liberated streams rush forward. Saturate both the earth and heaven with fatness, and for the cows let there be drink abundant.
