He who sent you as serpents, Agni, brings peace where you move; in these the heavens and the hearing rise, and attentive minds become quick among mortals.

To you, Agni, the accepter of the oblation, the upholder (of all), there is plural asure (from our praise); do you bestow upon these your worshippers wealth, and food and a heart (grateful for your favour).

Agni to whom the oil is shed by him thou lovest to support, Bestow upon these mortals fame and splendour and intelligence.
