इति॑ चिन्म॒न्युम॒ध्रिज॒स्त्वादा॑त॒मा प॒शुं द॑दे । आद॑ग्ने॒ अपृ॑ण॒तोऽत्रिः॑ सासह्या॒द्दस्यू॑नि॒षः सा॑सह्या॒न्नॄन्
iti cinmanyumadhrijastvādātamā paśuṃ dade ādagne apṛṇato'triḥ sāsahyāddasyūniṣaḥ sāsahyānnṝn
Thus did they, the singers, give the beast to the mind-born sacrificer, Agni received; Atris unwillingly took it, and together they led the hostile bands away.
May the sage who is in this manner the offerer of exclusive praise (Agni, to you), accept the cattle which are to be given to you; and thereupon may Atri overcome (hostile) men.
Such zeal hath he, resistless one: he gained the cattle given by thee. Agni, may Atri overcome the Dasyus who bestow no gifts, subdue the men who give no food.
