hiraṇyarūpamuṣaso vyuṣṭāvayaḥsthūṇamuditā sūryasya ā rohatho varuṇa mitra gartamataścakṣāthe aditiṃ ditiṃ ca
Arrayed in golden form, the horses of the dawn rose up beside the sun. Ascend, O Varuṇa and Mitra, into the abyss; behold Aditi, the shining one, and Diti.
At the break of dawn, at the rising of the sun, ascend Mitra and Varuṇa, your golden-bodied, metal-pillared car, and thence, behold the earth and its inhabitants.
Ye mount your car gold-hued at break of morning, and iron-pillared when the Sun is setting, And from that place, O Varuna and Mitra, behold infinity and limit~tion.
