अधा॑रयतं पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्यां मित्र॑राजाना वरुणा॒ महो॑भिः । व॒र्धय॑त॒मोष॑धीः॒ पिन्व॑तं॒ गा अव॑ वृ॒ष्टिं सृ॑जतं जीरदानू
adhārayataṃ pṛthivīmuta dyāṃ mitrarājānā varuṇā mahobhiḥ vardhayatamoṣadhīḥ pinvataṃ gā ava vṛṣṭiṃ sṛjataṃ jīradānū
They placed earth below and heaven above, O Mitra-kings, Varuna with the great ones; they grew medicinal plants, cattle nourished, the sung rain created life for the old and young.
Royal Mitra and Varuṇa, you uphold, by your energies, earth and heaven; prompt benefactors, cause the plural nts to grow, give nourishment to the cattle, send down the rain.
O Mitra-Varuna, ye by your greatness, both Kings, have firmly stablished earth and heaven, Ye caused the cows to stream, the plants to flourish, and, scattering swift drops, sent down the rain-flood.
