May Agni be for you a hymn, an offering, bright and lord of sacrifices; may the moonlike, wealthy bringers of oblations with silver vessels call to you and offer praise.
To you, radiant Agni, lord of light, giver of plural asure, destroyer (of foes), protector of man, the bearer of oblations, to you the oblation is offered with the sacred verse; do you bring to your adorers.
To thee the splendid, Lord of flame, bright, wondrous, Prince of men, is brought. Oblation with the holy verse, O Agni, bearer of our gifts. Bring food to those who sing thy praise.
