वयो॒ न ये श्रेणीः॑ प॒प्तुरोज॒सान्ता॑न्दि॒वो बृ॑ह॒तः सानु॑न॒स्परि॑ । अश्वा॑स एषामु॒भये॒ यथा॑ वि॒दुः प्र पर्व॑तस्य नभ॒नूँर॑चुच्यवुः
vayo na ye śreṇīḥ papturojasāntāndivo bṛhataḥ sānunaspari aśvāsa eṣāmubhaye yathā viduḥ pra parvatasya nabhanūm̐racucyavuḥ
Not those who attained the ranks are exhausted by heaven’s great might; both their horses, as they knew, ran like the peaks of the mountain and raised their voice.
Like birds (that fly) in rows they pass along in their strength above the vast summit (of the sky) to the ends of the firmament; their horses have caused the waters of the cloud to descend, as both (gods and mortals) know.
Like birds of air they flew with might in lengthened lines from heaven's high ridges to the borders of the sky. The steeds who carry them, as Gods and mortals know, have caused the waters of the mounuains to desGend.
