वाशी॑मन्त ऋष्टि॒मन्तो॑ मनी॒षिणः॑ सु॒धन्वा॑न॒ इषु॑मन्तो निष॒ङ्गिणः॑ । स्वश्वाः॑ स्थ सु॒रथाः॑ पृश्निमातरः स्वायु॒धा म॑रुतो याथना॒ शुभ॑म्
vāśīmanta ṛṣṭimanto manīṣiṇaḥ sudhanvāna iṣumanto niṣaṅgiṇaḥ svaśvāḥ stha surathāḥ pṛśnimātaraḥ svāyudhā maruto yāthanā śubham
Powerful, true, wise, skillful in the bow, intent and unbound—swift of steeds, famed chariot-warriors, the mothers of bounty: the Marut, with his weapons, performs gracious deeds.
Intelligent Maruts, you are armed with swords, with lances, with bows with arrows, with quivers; you are well mounted and have handsome chariots; sons of Pṛṣṇi you are well armed; come for our good.
Armed with your daggers, full of wisdom, armed with spears, armed with your quivers, armed with arrows, with good bows, Good horses and good cars have ye, O Prsni's Sons: ye, Maruts, with good weapons go to victory.
