tadvo yāmi draviṇaṃ sadyaūtayo yenā sva1rṇa tatanāma nṝm̐rabhi idaṃ su me maruto haryatā vaco yasya tarema tarasā śataṃ himāḥ
I bring you treasure—swiftly—by which the golden wealth came into men’s hands. This speech of mine, Marut, bears you away: may it ferry you across with a hundredfold lane of protection.
Therefore do I solicit wealth of you, who are prompt to grant protection, whereby we may multiply our descendants, as the sun (spreads wide his rays); be propitiated, Maruts, by this my praise, by the efficacy whereof may we pass over a hundred winters.
Of you, most swift to succour! I solicit wealth wherewith we may spread forth mid men like as the Sun. Accept, O Maruts, graciously this hymn of mine that we may live a hundred winters through its power.
