You are the treasure the Maruts seek, brave and to be touched; you are the seer endowed with soma-song. You are the abundant wealth of the chieftain, you, O kingly, full of creative power.
You bestow, Maruts, wealth and enviable posterity; you protect the sage learned in the Sāma; you grant horses and food to (me) the ministrant priest; you render a prince prosperous.
Maruts, ye further wealth with longedfor heroes, further the Rsi skilled in chanted verses. Ye give the Bharata as his strength, a charger, and ye bestow a king who quickly listens.
