We invoke the Maruts; we compose praise and the ritual with Drsnuya. All men who follow the generations purify mortal life and are sought by the seers.

We enjoin you, (priests), to offer earnestly praise and sacrifice to the Maruts, who through all human ages, protect the mortal worshipper from harm.

With boldness to your Maruts let us offer laud and sacrifice: Who all, through ages of mankind, guard mortal man from injury.
