May the Sun drive forth seven-horsed chariot over the field that is his by wide path. The swift falcon, the ruler, sent down the blind? The youthful poet gave light as cows went forth.
May Sūrya, lord of seven steeds, arrive, for he has a distant goal (to reach) by a tedious route; fleet as a hawk he pounces upon the offered (sacrificial) food; ever young and far-seeing, he shines, moving amidst rays of light.
Borne by his Coursers Seven may Surya visit the field that spreadeth wide for his long journey. Down on the Soma swooped the rapid Falcon. Bright was the young Sage moving mid his cattle.
