This day, may we be purified, may we become powerful by solemn rite; banish enmity and keep the sacrificer before us; grant strength to our dwelling.
Come today quickly; let us be engaged in pious acts; let us entirely annihilate the hostile; let us keep off all sacred enemies; let us hasten to the presence of the instrumental tutor of the rite.
This day approach us: may our thoughts be holy, far from us let us cast away misfortune. Let us keep those who hate us at a distance, and haste to meet the man who sacrifices.
