सू॒क्तेभि॑र्वो॒ वचो॑भिर्दे॒वजु॑ष्टै॒रिन्द्रा॒ न्व१॒॑ग्नी अव॑से हु॒वध्यै॑ । उ॒क्थेभि॒र्हि ष्मा॑ क॒वयः॑ सुय॒ज्ञा आ॒विवा॑सन्तो म॒रुतो॒ यज॑न्ति
sūktebhirvo vacobhirdevajuṣṭairindrā nva1gnī avase huvadhyai ukthebhirhi ṣmā kavayaḥ suyajñā āvivāsanto maruto yajanti
With hymns, words, and rites, praised by the gods—Indra and Agni are invoked in the oblation. With hymns the seers, skilled in sacrifice, together with the Maruts perform worship.
I Indra and Agni, I invoke you for my salvation with well-uttered words, agreeable to the gods; for verily, sages excelling in sacrifice, and diligently adoring, worship you with sacred songs, prompt as the Maruts (in devotion).
With hymns and God-loved words will I invoke you, Indra and Agni, to obtain your favour, For verily sages, skilled in sacrificing, worship the Maruts and with lauds invite them.
