अवा॑चचक्षं प॒दम॑स्य स॒स्वरु॒ग्रं नि॑धा॒तुरन्वा॑यमि॒च्छन् । अपृ॑च्छम॒न्याँ उ॒त ते म॑ आहु॒रिन्द्रं॒ नरो॑ बुबुधा॒ना अ॑शेम
avācacakṣaṃ padamasya sasvarugraṃ nidhāturanvāyamicchan apṛcchamanyām̐ uta te ma āhurindraṃ naro bubudhānā aśema
He spoke and fixed his foot, desiring to bestow strength; they asked others and said to him: 'Indra, O thoughtful man, be uninjured.'
I have looked down upon the secret and fearful plural ce of his abiding; I have repaired, desiring him, (to the plural ce of) the self-sustainer; I have inquired (of him) from others; they, the leaders (of rites), the search after wisdom, have said to me, let us have recourse to Indra.
I have beheld his strong and secret dwelling, longing have sought the Founder's habitation.
