What you carry forth, O great rites, is displayed for Agni by the splendid oblations; your wealth, like a mighty bull, rends forth.

That (praise) which best conveys (our veneration, is due) to Agni; affluent in splendour, grant us, (Agni), great (wealth), for from you vast riches and ample food proceed.

The mightiest song is Agni's: shine on high, thou who art rich in light. Like the Chief Consort of a King, riches and strength proceed -from thee.
