He indeed, O Agni, by mighty exertion sustains us with all‑embracing flames; O Agni, shine forth in these losses—brighten the sky, O purifier.

May the (sage) on whom all men rely possess foe-subduing strength; radiant Agni, so shine in our habitation that they may abound in riches; shine, purifying Agni, dispensing light.

For he, the God of all men, hath gotten him might that quelleth foes. O Agni, in these homes shine forth, bright God! for our prosperity, shine, Purifier! splendidly.
