व॒सां राजा॑नं वस॒तिं जना॑ना॒मरा॑तयो॒ नि द॑धु॒र्मर्त्ये॑षु । ब्रह्मा॒ण्यत्रे॒रव॒ तं सृ॑जन्तु निन्दि॒तारो॒ निन्द्या॑सो भवन्तु
vasāṃ rājānaṃ vasatiṃ janānāmarātayo ni dadhurmartyeṣu brahmāṇyatrerava taṃ sṛjantu ninditāro nindyāso bhavantu
May the lords grant dwellings to the people and destinies for mortals. Let the creative ones fashion Brahman here; let not the slanderers be born, let them be reproached.
Enemies have secreted amongmortals, the king of living beings, the asylum of men; may the prayers of Atri set him free; may those who revile be reviled.
Mid mortal men godless have secreted the King of all who live, home of the people. So may the prayers of Atri give him freedom. Reproached in turn be those who now reproach him.
